Event Coordinator
Full Time Role

About the Role

Australian Green Clean (AGC) has had an exciting opportunity for a Full Time Event  Coordinator to join us in our Adelaide office with interstate opportunities.

AGC is a leading sustainable cleaning and waste management company with a strong presence across South Australia’s commercial, education, and events sectors. Our mission is simple but ambitious: to make waste to landfill a thing of the past. We’re proud to partner with some of the state’s biggest festivals, venues, and events, delivering high-quality services with sustainability at the heart of everything we do.

The Role
In this role, you will be at the centre of planning and delivering our events on site, working with the team to ensure our team and clients are fully supported.

This role is fast-paced and hands-on — you’ll coordinate rosters, staff briefs, manage logistics, and support the team on-site to make sure every event runs smoothly. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work to get the best outcomes on site at our events - which includes visiting sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Events Team with the coordination of staff, rosters, and event schedules

  •  Provide quotes to clients
  • Provide detailed event briefs to supervisors and ensure staff inductions/toolbox talks are completed

  • Assist with equipment and consumables management to ensure events are fully prepared

  • Monitor and support on-site staff during events, helping to resolve issues quickly

  • Contribute to post-event debriefs and reporting to drive improvements

  • Deliver excellent communication and customer service to event clients

  • Promote AGC’s sustainability values in all event operations

What We’re Looking For

  • 1–2 years’ experience in events, hospitality/venues or operations coordination.

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with staff and clients.

  • Calm under pressure, with strong problem-solving abilities.

  • Willingness to work flexible hours, on call roster shared with the team on weekends.

  • Current driver’s licence required; forklift licence desirable.

Why Join Our Events Team?

  • Be part of South Australia and Interstate festivals and events.

  • Work with a supportive, high-energy team that values collaboration.

  • Gain hands-on experience in event operations and client service.

  • Opportunities for professional growth in event and operations management.

  • Make a genuine impact through sustainability in the events industry.
